On behalf of its Advocate Research & Value Delivery Program (ARVD) members, ISTA is seeking proposals for understanding clamp handling force and frequency measurement for non-parcel products. This research will focus on clamp handling dynamics, including:

➡️ Characterization of typical clamp handling forces across a range of technologies and environments.
➡️ Creation of a model/calculation to help determine minimum clamping forces required to lift a package of XX size and YY weight for different use-case scenarios.

It is expected that the Research Partner will develop an approach to accomplish these objectives and work with ISTA to collaboratively finalize the scope and approach. ISTA is willing to collaborate with the researcher on development of a clamp pressure measurement device.
