As a licensed household mover in the state of Michigan. We are required to follow a tariff if we are over 40 miles from our shop at either the pick up or drop off point?
If you hire someone that is not a licensed mover and damage occurs to your belongings, your home, or your property you will not be reimbursed for those damages?
Every day I see people recommending movers that are not licensed - they may say they are but it is YOUR responsibility as a consumer to be sure for your protection. (even if they are a legit business they must be registered as a household goods mover)

Northern Michigan Movers want to thank everyone that helped make this possible! We had challenge after challenge this year getting this organized and put together but we did it! All boxes have been delivered (last two going out this afternoon) and we feel good about being able to help so many families in need!
These photos were the donations we got and believe it or not we still needed to go back and purchase more! (We always intended to purchase more meat with the monetary donations but we ended up needing more of everything!) We are thankful God blessed us with enough money and donations to pull this off! Huge thank you to everyone that made this happen! Also big thanks to Dom for dealing with the trailer, Jazzy for helping me shop and pack boxes and Logan for helping shop a second time.. and Logan and Aaron for getting them delivered!
We will change a few things up and be back next year! I love our community!

****HELP US HELP OTHERS!****

It’s the holiday season and Northern Michigan Movers wants to help those in need in our community! We took a couple of years off from this tradition while Todd was sick but we know he would want us to continue now that we are able! Here are the details:
There will be a trailer at Lake Street Pub in Boyne City on Dec 2,3 and 4th. The trailer will be open and you can drop your donations inside.

We will be taking donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries and paper products. If you prefer to do a monetary donation you can message Kim Culver
for Venmo or cashapp info. Monetary donations will be used to buy hams or turkeys.

On Saturday Dec 7th our Northern Michigan Movers crew are donating their time to drop off boxes to those in need. Unfortunately, we are only able to do local Boyne City, Boyne Falls, East Jordan and Walloon Lake addresses at this time.

If you or someone you know are struggling and would like a box please contact Kim via messenger or text 239-223-3371 with a name and address.
(We hope to get enough donations to serve everyone in need- but we know the need is great so we have to say that we will go in order of referrals and get as many as we possible can with the donations given.)
