We will be adding some Premium options to our Scattering Tube Selection over the next few months. The first new addition is Reclaimed Heart Pine. We personally deconstructed a 150 year old structure and salvaged as much of the lumber as we could. These are obviously very special pieces to us.

Each scattering tube we make is unique. Each one is made by hand with care and attention to detail. Each tube will be a small part of someone’s grieving process, a part of honoring the memory of a loved one. We take our role in this seriously and we are eternally grateful for those who choose for their loved ones.

In Japanese tradition, the family crest, or “mon”, is used to represent one’s origins and lineage. This family chose to honor their loved one with their custom engraved mon on a cherry urn. This simple and elegant memorial is carrying on an ancient tradition, one that we were honored to be able to take a small part in.

Each of our Ash Scattering Tubes is turned and finished by hand on the lathe. We choose to make them this way to ensure that each one is unique and reflects the personal touch we strive to put into each and every item that leaves our shop.
