I am humbled by the number of people that have trusted me to help them safely and comfortably enjoy their day on the lake. Three years ago, when I decided to offer my Captain services to those planning a lake day but lacking the knowledge or desire to operate a boat, I had no idea that I would soon be approaching 100 charters. Not bad for a retired CPA that just wanted to share his love of boating.
People always wonder about being on a boat all day with folks you don’t know. Each and every charter has been amazing and fun for everyone, especially me. It has been a truly awesome and fulfilling time and can’t wait to help many others.

Whether you’re out on a boat, relaxing along the shoreline or hanging out at your campsite, a few simple precautions can help everyone have a safe and enjoyable day outdoors.

Before heading out:
⭐Make sure your pet wears a properly fitted life jacket while on or near water
⭐Keep your furry friends on a leash no longer than 6 feet in recreation areas to help avoid unexpected interactions with people and other pets
⭐Watch for signs of heat stress or fatigue, especially during hot afternoons

Pets are part of the family and a little extra preparation goes a long way toward a safe and fun day at the lake!
