In 1997, after realizing how terribly under represented die-cast model planes were in the market place, I launched this so-called "hobby business" to sell pieces mainly from my personal collection to the public, in hopes of generating a little more income and shedding light on this undervalued industry in the field of aviation. Half way through my career as a pilot for Fed Ex, I took my fascinatio

n to the next level with Aiken's Airplanes. This enthusiasm is what brought me to this airplane business, and will hopefully continue for generations to come. Our primary focus is to have fun along the way and to promote beautifully crafted airplane collectibles, which only become more valuable with time. It is always encouraging to meet other aviation enthusiasts who share their experiences and exciting tales.
