Thinking about getting your U.S. passport? Here’s what you need to know 👇

✈️ First-time adults (16+):
Apply in person using Form DS-11 at a passport acceptance facility.

👶 Kids under 16:
Must apply in person with both parents/guardians (or signed consent). Valid for 5 years.

🧑‍🎓 Ages 16–17:
Apply in person and show at least one parent/guardian is aware. Valid for 10 years.

⏰ Traveling within 2 weeks?
You’ll need an appointment at a passport agency + proof of travel. Already applied? Call 1-877-487-2778.

📬 Renewing your passport?
You may be able to renew by mail or online if you meet the requirements (issued at 16+, undamaged, not lost/stolen, issued within 15 years).
