Y’all… Tesla really flipped a car upside down off a roller coaster ramp last night and called it a flying car. 😂 And it jumped right over the Tesla Semi like it was nothing. I’ve been in this industry 12+ years and I’ve seen a lot of things roll through, but I’ve never seen a truck get hopped over by a sports car.

Until it can haul a 40-footer out the port, I’m sticking with my drivers. 😏 Would you ride in it? Let me know below 👇🏾

Part 2 is here. Y’all went crazy over Humble’s driverless truck with no cab, and most of you asked the same thing: how much does it cost?

Here’s what I found. Humble Robotics raised $24M, and the founder helped build one of the first self-driving truck companies. But there’s still no price and no cost per mile. Running a regular truck costs about $2.34 a mile right now, and Humble takes out the driver and the diesel. The catch is the upfront cost, the insurance, and who’s watching it.

And they’re not starting with long haul. They’re starting with ports, rail ramps, and yard moves. That’s our lane.

Real scenario from yesterday 👇🏾

There’s a steady lane out of Birmingham to Atlanta. Empty dry van trailers, a lot of volume. My friend who has it is tied up with other work, so we offered it to her owner operator… and he quoted it way outside of what it should be.🫪🥴

So tonight at 7PM we’re going to talk about it🗣️🚛

If you’ve pulled containers, you know the drill: walking the yard, opening doors, checking box after box just to find an empty.
