Get ready Dothan! We'll be in downtown tomorrow all day for the Independence Day/America 250 celebration in downtown. We will be setup with Landmark Park beside KBC in the grassy lot there. This will be our first setup running S and N scales.

Please remember to not touch, we are volunteers doing this with our own time and resources. Touching the trains could cause damage. Beyond that? Enjoy!

Don't forget! This Saturday from 2PM until 9PM you can come see us out in downtown Dothan during the Independence day festivities. We will be located beside KBC in the grassy area. We will have flyers for our train show in September as well as new member applications! We will be running trains in both S and N scales.

While we love and appreciate everyone's enthusiasm with our recent displays, we would also like to remind everyone we are volunteers who do this on our own time with our own money. Please be respectful and do not touch the trains. They are very expensive and not easy to replace.

Looking for something to do this July 4th for America's 250th birthday? Come down and see us in downtown Dothan on Foster Street with our travelling layout! We'll be setup from 2PM till 9:00PM running trains, and for the first time in S and N scales. We'll have new member applications and flyers for our train show in September on hand. We'd love to have you by!

Our club layout may be HO scale, but our members model in a WIDE variety of scales. Ranging from N to Z to S scales! Regardless of your primary scale we invite anyone to become a member. We run temporary exhibition layouts for most of these scales so there's no limits to participation.

Howdy y'all! It's been a while. Pardon our silence as we've been completing the move to our new location and have started construction on our new club layout. Our move to Landmark Park was completed ahead of schedule thanks to our president Casey Merritt and a few others who toiled weekend after weekend to get us back on track. A final attempt to stifle our move by the city of Hartford where we were formerly located was thwarted by our email secretary Mr Paul Byrnes, whom we call the "Master Negotiator" for a reason. Since then? Things are looking very bright for us here at WSW. Our new layout is fully new construction built for operations in mind. 36" and 32" curves throughout laid on Kato Unitrak for reliable operation of any equipment regardless of length. As you can see we have a little ways to go, but we hope to have our first trains running by mid August at the latest.

Get ready for a weekend of sunshine and fun at Landmark Park's touch-a-truck this Saturday on the 16th! We will be in attendance at the Stoke's activity barn with our traveling display layout. Come by and take a break from the heat with us!

We want to welcome the Wiregrass Steel Wheels to Landmark Park. Wiregrass Steel Wheels is a model railroad club in Southeast Alabama focused on HO and N scale trains. The club is now located at Landmark Park and will begin installing their train layout for all to enjoy. Wiregrass Steel Wheels will have monthly meetings in the Interpretive Center at 2 pm on the second Saturday of each month. If you are interested in becoming a member of the club, plan to attend their next meeting or call the club President, Joe Chicarello at 334-545-0509 for more information.
