Flatbed Just Had Its Worst Week Since 2008 — Diesel Hit $5.45
Flatbed rates fell sharply — down 17¢ — posting their steepest single-week decline since 2008. Diesel jumped 19.7¢ to $5.454, its highest weekly average since May. Van eased slightly, re**er held nearly steady. This is a seasonal cool in a structurally tight market — not a repeat of 2023. Quote all-in, protect your fuel surcharge, and don't panic.
