Started Monday in Chicago, IL, and kept the truck moving through Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana before wrapping up Friday in Perrysburg, OH.

Here's what we booked:

📍 Dunville, KY - $1,860 | 372 miles
📍 New Haven, OH - $2,500 | 484 miles
📍 Holland, IN - $1,900 | 419 miles
📍 Perrysburg, OH - $4,500 | 662 miles

$12,760 gross | 2,466 miles | $5.17 RPM

Five loads, all booked Monday through Friday. Next up is Roseville, MN, on Monday.

Another flatbed run in the books. This one was a full load of lumber - 48,000 lbs from Thomaston, GA to New Holland, PA.

825 loaded miles and $3,200 on the load. The driver got it strapped down and ready for the road.

40,000 lbs of tooling, and every strap has a job to do.

Picked up in Deer Park, TX and headed 1,139 miles to Reidsville, NC. $3,950 on the load at $3.34 per mile.

The kind of freight that makes a flatbed look like a flatbed.

🚛 FMCSA Temporarily Pauses USDOT Number Deactivations

FMCSA has temporarily paused USDOT Number deactivations for carriers who missed their biennial update during the transition to the new MOTUS registration system.

The temporary relief applies to registrants whose biennial update was due June 1, 2026 or later.

Important: this does not remove the biennial update requirement. Carriers are still responsible for keeping their registration information current and should complete required updates when possible.

For trucking companies, an active USDOT Number is critical to staying compliant and keeping trucks on the road. Keep an eye on upcoming FMCSA guidance as the MOTUS transition continues.

One truck. Four paid moves. A lot of ground covered.

The week started in Alachua, FL, moved up to Elloree, SC, then turned west for El Paso, TX. From there, the truck worked its way back to Manchester, TN.

By Sunday morning, the numbers were in:

$12,430 gross | 4,695 miles | $2.65 RPM

And Manchester wasn’t the finish line - the truck was already ready for the next load.

40,000 lbs of plywood sitting on the flatbed in Riddle, Oregon, with Denville, New Jersey waiting on the other side of the country.
