Reminder that nature is always beautiful and our perception tends to change that!

Nature and our planet are not putting on shows for our benefit.

Yesterday a CME came off the sun, and as per the norm, A LOT of hype followed, forseeing a super aurora show in the works.

Our IMF flopped backwards, clouds moved in and the night was over before 10pm.

And still, it was exactly as it should be, nature's prerogative precisely played.

So here is a photo from Thursday night, when a random, normal aurora data night turned into a mega show, exactly as nature planned.

We were just lucky enough to be present for the show!

Hype is just hype, accross the board of humanity.

Come without expectation and you will be rewarded by nature every time.

Every show is beautiful and none are the same!

That is the beauty of life on our planet, it is never the same, each day is entirely different.

Reflection Perfection!

Our reflection season is winding down as things freeze.

But last night was the clearest reflections I've seen this season, and the lights in the sky and in the water melted so perfectly you couldn't tell where one started and the other stopped.

Sound Up!

We often have guests or pre-guests that ask if you can truly see the aurora, this video is the answer!

Some nights, perfection exists only in your mind and memories... tripods help, but the Aurora waits for no one!

I will forever be grateful that what my eyes record is far greater than my camera skills will ever be.
