Truck drivers can find free food, drinks, fuel rewards, DEF discounts and major giveaways throughout September as companies mark National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

Pilot is offering weekly free drinks and snacks, while its Road Warrior contest includes a customized Kenworth W990 and $50,000. TravelCenters of America, Kwik Trip and Sentry are also running sweepstakes with cash, points and other prizes.

Other reported promotions include free food and drinks at RaceTrac, discounted bulk DEF at Sheetz and giveaways from Truckstop.

Many offers require a loyalty account, company app or qualifying purchase, and some are limited to participating locations.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week runs September 13–19, but several promotions continue through the end of September or into October.

Job description

The right candidate for this position will be:

-Must be 18 years of age or older

-Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs

-The service technicians job is to perform tire service and repair work as well as basic general service functions on Fleet vehicles (all sizes), fleet inspections, assist with scrap tires and other duties as required

-Preferred Ability to drive a service truck (F-250) to an onsite location where equipment is broken down

-Preferred experience of 1-2 years industry related.

-Work with tire TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System)

-Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations

-Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies

Pay is dependent on experience.

Willing to train the right candidate for the position.

Qualifications
• Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• 1 to 2 years Regional /OTR Experience
• Good MVR and safe driving record, including no BACs, DUIs, DWIs, or licensing suspensions for moving violations in the past 3 years
• No Speeding Tickets over 75 mph or higher than 15 mph over the legal speed limit
• Ability to meet work attendance and availability requirements and pass all CFI certification class testing and requirements
• Have legal right to work and live in the United States
• Must be located within 35 miles of Dixon, CA
