Having a little bit of fun today changing a steering system and found a mouse may have had a little fun in here chewed up the wiring harness coming out of the control box, if you ever see these they only chew certain wires the plastic castings has soy in them and some how they can smell it

I finished a job this morning on an inboard engine. Customer stated it sounded like it was out of time, it would fire off then backfire. It is fuel injected, first time I heard it very first though was fuel pump; lean backfires, but you can’t forget the basics of mechanics. I pulled the plugs and checked compression and it was all good. Next is fire, it was simple enough on this particular engine to pull the distributor cap and look. I found it to be corroded and rusty in there. I replaced the cap and rotor, now it starts and runs fine. Another happy customer
