QLINE Detroit Detroit's streetcar serving 12 locations on Woodward Ave. from Downtown Detroit through Midtown, New Center and the North End. Department of Transportation.

Service managed by The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan. M-1 RAIL is a non-profit organization formed in 2007 to lead the design, construction, and future operation of a 3.3-mile circulating streetcar along Woodward Avenue between Larned Street and West Grand Boulevard in Detroit, Michigan. M-1 RAIL is an unprecedented public-private partnership and model for regional collaboration

Notably, the first major transit project being led and funded by both private businesses, philanthropic organizations, in partnership with local government, the State of Michigan, and U.S.

Heading to the Detroit Jazz Festival this weekend? Park once and ride QLINE to the music.

Park for just $5 at Wayne State Lot 12, 6050 Woodward Ave., then hop on QLINE at Amsterdam Station and ride free down Woodward to Hart Plaza.

Park & Ride is available Friday through Sunday, making it an easy way to skip the downtown parking search and get to Jazz Fest.

This Sunday is the final day of QLINE’s extended summer service, with streetcars running until midnight.

Whether you’re heading to Jazz Fest, grabbing dinner or spending the evening along Woodward, enjoy a little extra time in the city and ride QLINE for free.

You loved it so much that we're bringing jazz back on the QLINE in partnership with the Detroit Jazz Festival! Get on board tomorrow and get ready for the festival with TWO live performances on board the streetcar:

🕛 12 PM: Gretchen C. Valade Trio
🕕 6 PM: Wendell Harrison Trio

Both performances will make the full trip from Grand Boulevard to Congress and back. Follow our story for location and other updates during the performances.

Every day, Ellen and Marcus help keep people moving along Woodward Avenue, connecting Detroiters and visitors with neighborhoods, businesses, jobs, events and destinations throughout the city's busiest corridor.
