🚆 Another day on the BlockedTrax network.

Both monitored crossings have been busy, providing real-time crossing status for drivers in St. Charles Parish.

Watching the network grow from one crossing to multiple active locations has been incredibly rewarding, and we're just getting started.

Thanks to everyone who's supported the project so far. More crossings are on the horizon.

🚂 Railroad Fact Monday 🚂

📍 Did you know the railroad through St. Charles Parish has been serving southeast Louisiana for nearly 200 years?

The first rail lines were established in the 1830s, helping connect communities along the Mississippi River and laying the foundation for one of the region's most important transportation corridors.

🚢 Today, freight arriving through the Port of New Orleans from around the world travels these same rail lines, carrying everything from grain and automobiles to steel, chemicals, and consumer goods destined for communities and industries across the United States.

🚆 Every train passing through St. Charles Parish is part of a much larger network that connects our local communities to the nation's heartland—and to global trade.
