It is always fun meeting new passengers every day, and today was particularly fun due to the fact our group was from San Antonio. We had low tide today, but at the end of the trip, they got to see high tide come in. Happy Monday, everyone! Capt. Chuck

Are you visiting Destin in the month of September and wanting that crystal clear blue water at Crab Island? 🩵

Did you know the water changes color because of the tides, and high tide brings the blue water in from the Gulf? Did you know that it’s also jellyfish season, and they come in to Crab Island with high tide? 🪼
Just keep that in mind when booking your Crab Island excursion with us.

✅ Please note: This tide information is sourced from usharbors.com. High tide conditions are typically at their best approximately 2 hours before and 2 hours after the time listed on the chart.

Also, weather conditions, wind, and rain can affect the water clarity and color, so Mother Nature always has the final say. Lastly, the illumination of the moon also affects tides. 🌕🌘

Did you know we offer karaoke with 2 cordless microphones on request? And this group was ALL about it! 🤩

They had everyone who passed by, or anchored beside us, joining in on the fun! 🥳

Even the passengers on one of the Cruisin Tiki boats were ready to throw their hands up and join the party! 🎉

That’s just how we do it on the Hopper... good music, great people, and a whole lot of fun on the water! 🦀🏝️🎶🎤

The sky has been amazing out here at Crab Island lately. We’ve had white fluffy clouds, and occasionally our dark ominous ones.
That’s Florida weather for you! You never know what you’re going to get, but when you’re on the water, every sky puts on a show!
