💨 Safety First on the Water! 🌊

A strong cold front has brought a Gale Warning to Destin, with north winds of 20-30 knots, higher gusts, and 4-6 foot waves. ⚠️

For the safety of our passengers, Destin Bay Hopper will remain docked until all warnings are lifted. The warning is in effect through Sunday.

💙 What a difference a week makes! ☀️

Just one week ago, we were preparing the Hopper for Hurricane Isaias, not knowing what the days ahead would bring.

Today, we’re back at Crab Island, watching our passengers smile, soaking up the sunshine, and making memories. 🦀🏝️

Our Destin community came together to clean up the mess left behind, and we are so grateful to everyone who pitched in. A HUGE thank you to all the electrical linemen who worked around the clock to restore our power. You are true heroes! ❤️🇺🇸

After a week like that, seeing Crab Island come back to life means a little more. We never take these beautiful days, our community, or the people who make it special for granted. 🥰

Although it has only been a few days since we took the boat out of the water to protect it from Hurricane Isaias, it feels like an eternity.
We are so thankful that our dock and surrounding restaurants fared well. There are some here in Destin that did not. We know that they will rebuild and come back stronger than ever!

We made it through the hurricane, and we’re so thankful that our dock made it through, too! 🥳

Tomorrow, Capt. Chuck will be bringing the
Hopper back to her home at the East Dock, and we’ll be ready to welcome our amazing passengers back on the water this coming week! ❤️

🌀 Hunkered down at home!

The power is out, and the wind and rain are picking up, but so far, we’re doing okay.

Hurricane Isaias is bringing dangerous conditions to our Florida Panhandle.

We’re keeping an eye on conditions, and praying for our friends, and neighbors throughout Destin, Fort Walton, Navarre, and the surrounding communities.

Please stay safe, follow local officials’ guidance, and keep the Florida Panhandle in your prayers.
