Want to know how we get to Crab Island? Hop aboard The Hopper and enjoy the journey!

Our short 15-minute boat ride takes us through Destin Harbor, then into Choctawhatchee Bay where we often spot our local dolphin friends, before arriving at Crab Island, Destin’s famous sandbar.

Once we anchor, you’ll have 3 hours to float, snorkel, paddle board, play, relax, and have fun! We provide everything you’ll need for an amazing day on the water, including floats, a giant lily pad, paddle board, water toys, and more!

We welcome 2-6 passengers per trip and charge per seat, but our small groups always feel like you’re on a private charter with friends.

One thing . Chuck Z always asks our passengers on the way to Crab Island... “Would you all like to see some dolphins?” 🐬

And somehow, it’s always a unanimous YES! 😍

Our 12:30 groups got the full experience today!
Not only did we spot our local dolphin friends, but once again, First Mate Julie called them over... and they literally came running from the distance, leaving the other boats behind to come say hello. 🐬

Watching our passengers light up never gets old. Those sweet dolphin faces popping up by the boat made everyone’s day! 🩶

POV: The rain storm tried to end the fun... but the party followed us back to the dock!

After the storm rolled in on the way back from Crab Island, we waited it out on the Hopper... and then live music started playing. Our passengers knew exactly what to do!

Our 9:00am-12:00pm Crab Island Excursion is always a special vibe! We start out calm and hardly any boats, but then by 11:00am, other boats and the floating food vendors are here giving it a whole other vibe. ~ Capt. Chuck

People often ask, do you offer Crab Island excursions everyday? The answer is...Yes! Crab Island season is from March 1st - October 31st. 🦀🏝️

Whether you’re looking to float, paddle board, snorkel, chill on the lily pad, shoot hoops, explore, or just soak up the Destin sunshine, we’ve got a spot for you aboard the Hopper! 🩵

Our Crab Island Excursion Times:
☀️9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
☀️12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
☀️4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Our trips are mixed groups unless you’ve got a crew of 5 or 6, then you get the Hopper all to yourselves!
We do not take more than 6. 🙌

And don’t worry, even on mixed trips, everyone does their own thing and we provide plenty of floats, paddle board, cooler with ice, and water toys for everyone. 🥳

What a fun day celebrating this little guy with his sweet family! He was our honorary captain for the morning, and he loved sitting in the captain’s chair. 🥳
