Today we observe National Defense Transportation Day – which is held every year on the 3rd Friday of May.

National Defense Transportation Day is a day to remember and honor the contributions and bravery of those who work in the transportation industry and for their devotion to the nation’s well-being and defense.

DGL wants to give a special shout-out to one of our own! Jason Reinertsen , Director of Business Development, went above and beyond to submit a special donation to Girl Scout Troop 280! Jason bought all the rest of the cookies that they were selling at their cookie booth to help raise money for Girl Scout Troop 280 and shared the remaining cookies with some of DGL’s customers to brighten their day!

Last week, we received a special "Cookie Volunteer" badge in honor of Jason's donation!
