These next-generation trains can run on overhead electric wires where available and switch seamlessly to low-emission onboard generators where they aren’t. 🚆

That flexibility allows new passenger rail services to operate across different types of rail infrastructure today, while remaining compatible with potential future investments and technologies. 🎯

New intercity passenger trains are now arriving across the U.S. 🇺🇸

Over the weekend, Washington welcomed their first new Amtrak Airo to Seattle’s King Street Station. These sleek new trains begin service on Amtrak Cascades this fall and will also run on the Northeast Corridor before long. 🚉

Modern intercity trains are transforming travel in regions very similar to Colorado’s Front Range. Why not here too? ⛰️

Did you know transportation is Colorado’s largest source of greenhouse gas emissions? 🌎

People still need to travel, and intercity passenger rail offers a cleaner way forward. 🌳

U.S. passenger rail produces 80%+ fewer emissions than driving and 70%+ fewer than flying. The (CoCo) would link a corridor representing 85% of Colorado’s population and 86% of its jobs. 🚆

Across the country, and across the world, intercity passenger rail works. Why not here?
