Meet Travel Designer Ruthie.

28 years in the industry. Over a decade living in Africa. A lifelong passion for travel that takes her from African safaris to the wilds of Patagonia and beyond.

Her favourite things to arrange? Tracking pumas through Patagonia's dramatic landscape with a private guide. A sunset picnic on the Masai Mara riverbank, complete with gourmet bites and a front row seat to one of Africa's greatest shows.

The best journeys begin with someone who truly knows the way.

Ten days. Two of Africa's greatest wilderness areas. A journey that stays with you long after you leave. South Luangwa to the Lower Zambezi. Leopard tracking after dark, walking safaris through untouched bush, and dinners under the African stars.

This is Zambia.

Meet the Gauchos. Patagonian cowboys who choose a simple, wild life; a living culture rooted in freedom, solitude and a deep connection to the land.

Not a relic, not a show. These skilled horsemen have wandered the vast grasslands of Argentina and Chile for centuries, and they're still very much here.

Some places you visit. Others you step into entirely.

At Mana Pools National Park, one of our favorite lodges, Mpala Jena, offers truly intimate wildlife encounters.

Enjoy bush walks, canoeing, and boating along the Zambezi. From your villa, take in views of the tree-lined riverbanks where elephants gather in abundance to drink and feed.

This is Africa at its most raw, refined, and unforgettable.

Hundreds of miles north, Cerro Castillo National Park in Chile’s Aysén region is quietly growing into South America's next big destination.

Spend the day rafting or fly fishing on Baker River, a deep turquoise waterway flanked by forest and snow-capped mountains. During your stay we can also craft helicopter tours over the northern Patagonia Ice Field, an exhilarating flight bursting with views.

"One of those experiences that stays with you forever." - Dua Lipa MG

Dua Lipa recently discovered what so many have before her, that Africa has a way of changing you. Quietly. Completely. With the kind of stillness that only wild places can offer.

Little Chem Chem is set within a private concession between Tarangire and Lake Manyara. The space feels open, quiet, and deeply considered. With only a handful of tents, privacy defines the experience.

This region is known for its walking safaris. Moving on foot changes perspective entirely. You begin to notice tracks, vegetation, wind direction, and the small details that shape wildlife movement.

Little Chem Chem invites you to slow down, observe closely, and experience the bush with intention.

Tarangire feels different from the moment you arrive. Ancient baobab trees rise from the earth, their silhouettes shaping the horizon, while the Tarangire River draws life inward during the dry season.

From June to October, large elephant herds gather here, often in groups of 100 or more. Their movement follows water, memory, and generational knowledge. Watching them navigate the landscape offers context, not just sightings.

This park holds space. Fewer vehicles, quieter terrain, and a sense of stillness that allows each encounter to unfold naturally.

At Gibb’s Farm, the gardens tend to draw you in before anything else.

Set high in the Ngorongoro Highlands, the air carries the scent of herbs, soil, and fresh growth. This is a working organic farm, and that presence shapes every part of the stay. Ingredients are harvested daily, and each meal reflects the land just beyond your doorstep.

Solar energy powers the property. Farming and community life unfold side by side, visible in the everyday flow rather than explained. Time softens here. Walks lead to the nearby elephant caves or into the village, while quieter hours invite simple rituals like baking bread.
