This one's for the driver-owners.

We heard you — some drivers have been running into issues with navigation during trips. The COOP app doesn't have built-in navigation, so you need to tap "Navigate" to open your preferred map app (Google Maps, Waze, etc.).

Sounds simple, but skipping that step is what causes trips to get marked complete before you've even arrived. And that leads to rider complaints nobody wants.

So we made this. A 45-second walkthrough showing you exactly how to:
1. Accept a ride
2. Tap Navigate to open your map
3. Follow the route to pickup
4. Complete the trip only after drop-off

Watch it once. Save it. Share it with any new driver-owners who are just getting started.

Name one thing your rideshare app could do better.

We'll go first: pay drivers more.

Not "driver appreciation week" more. Not "here's a badge for 1,000 rides" more. Actually more. As in 80% of every fare goes directly to the driver. As in the drivers own the company and vote on how it runs.

That's our answer. What's yours?

Drop it in the comments. We read every one. And if it's something we can fix, we will.

Drivers and independent mechanics are better together.

The Drivers Cooperative Colorado is proud to partner with QuattroWerks, a worker-owned local autocare shop, to offer COOP drivers discounted professional services:
• General repair and service work: $120/hr plus parts costs
• Oil changes: $30 plus parts costs, which vary by vehicle oil capacity and filter
• COOP-required initial inspection and professional vehicle check: $30

QuattroWerks is at 1545 W. Dixie Pl., Denver, near I-70 and I-25 and not far from I-76. To book, call (303) 848-4836.

And while you’re there, stop by the Coop mirror at the Colorado People’s Center, take a selfie, and share that you ride for workers.

Every driver-owner has a seat at the table. 🗣️

At Colorado Drivers Cooperative, your voice isn’t just heard — it shapes the future. Our regular member meetings are where the real work happens:

💬 Share feedback on what’s working and what’s not
🗳️ Vote on priorities and key decisions
📈 Review how the business is performing
🤝 Connect with fellow driver-owners

This is what democratic ownership looks like in practice. No one makes decisions for you — you make them together.

The $5 prebooking fee is officially gone. 🎉

We heard you — and we acted. Now you can plan ahead and book your rides in advance without any extra charge. Whether it's an early morning airport run, a scheduled commute, or a weekend trip — prebook with confidence.

At Colorado Drivers Cooperative, we're always looking for ways to make rideshare better for our community. Removing this fee means:
✅ No extra cost to plan ahead
✅ Book rides on your schedule
✅ Same great driver-owned service
✅ More reasons to choose local

Your rides, your schedule, no surprises.

Autonomous rideshare launched in Denver this week. Genuinely — congrats, that is hard engineering.

Here's what happened in our rides this week.

A driver turned around for the phone left on the back seat. Another knew Colfax was closed before the app did. Someone told you which DIA security line actually moves, helped load the skis, and said "get home safe" like they meant it.

None of that is in a route calculation. It's just people who know this city driving other people around it.

Our drivers own the company. When the co-op does well, they do.

New riders get $5 off with code FIRSTCOOP.
