Just a reminder about the new vision plan through Blue View Vision. You should have received a card in the mail back in January. If you did not, please contact benefits at X3021 to receive a new card. The main "in network" providers are: Target, JC Penney, Sears, Lens Crafters and Pearl Vision, however there are a myriad of independent doctors that are also in network. It is important to diversify your 457(b) portfolio between cash, bonds and equities (stocks). Often people put their retirement savings in "safe" investments like money markets, CDs, or guaranteed funds, however in the long term these investments more than likely will not keep up with inflation. Open Enrollment for Salaried Benefits will be here before you know it! Open Enrollment will run from Sunday October 20th through Saturday November 2nd. Remember, ALL salaried employees must complete open enrollment electronically through Oracle and submit a signed confirmation statement to benefits at Blk 11.
