We went and grabbed the boat, from storage.Got to the ramp, and the boat would not start. Found fuel in the bilge, after close inspection. I found the water/fuel seperator, rusted through. Got back in the truck, to go to the parts store. A few miles down the road, and a tire blew out on the trailer. And as if that was not enough, the spare was flat. Now what do we do, unhook the boat.Go to walmart, to kill two birds with one stone. Got a new tire, but no filter, off to the parts store. Got a filter, got back to the boat. Put the new tire on, installed the filter. Back to the ramp, we go.
Got to the ramp, a few pumps of the primer bulb, and we are in business. It runs! we dock the boat, park the truck. Off we go, bilge did not work, bait well pump stopped working, what else could happen. Done some riding, and some fishing. Went to turn on the radio, nope, it lights up but none of the buttons work. Now its getting close to dark, lets gead back in. Sun going down, turn on the lights. all around light, don't work, get to the ramp. there sits a Game Warden, yep got a ticket for the lights, horn, fire extinguisher, and throwable. what a day it was, and costly at that.
