Our barn find finally hit the water 😂 We took this old Carolina Skiff that had been sitting forever, swapped the Johnson 35HP for a Parsun Outboards 40HP, rigged the whole thing ourselves and finally got to see what she’d do...This video is the first water test. Nothing fancy, just figuring it out as we go 💪🏻 She’s got some more work to do, but runs great.

Gotta love fishing with kids...😆 1 out of our 4 boys get sick when we go offshore or even close on a choppy day. Shoot, the little one gets sicks in the truck on the way to the dang boat ramp most days 😭 Oh the messy fun that is raising kids...

We sold our old J14 Carolina Skiff years ago and somehow ended up right back in a little J16. This one has been a fun project to put together and getting the boys out for their first ride made it even better. New 40hp Parsun Outboards ran great and the boys were already talking about taking it flounder gigging...so that’s exactly what we did the next day 😂 (video to come)

“WAY bigger than what we need" 😂 Our J16 Carolina Skiff build continues with a new 6ft Parsun Outboards trolling motor. We might have gone a little bigger than needed…but we’re ready to see what this setup can do 🌊 Water test coming soon!!
