We are looking for an experienced truck driver to join our local, family owned and operated company in West Michigan.
Competitive starting pay with an increase after 60 days. Year-round work.
Paid time off, Holiday pay, Insurance benefits, and Performance bonuses.
Requirements:
*CDL with doubles endorsement preferred, but will train
Responsibilities:
*Transport construction aggregates to and from local job sites
*Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
*Document and log work
*Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
*Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
*Collect and verify delivery instructions
*Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills:
*Proven work experience preferred
*Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
*No recent moving or driving violations
*Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
*Valid truck driving license
