A couple of our club members were able to do a different kind of flying this evening. It sounds like the first time passenger is already hooked, and enjoying something new, but I would say it’s safe to say he won’t leave his wings behind.

We want to congratulate Billy on his first solo yesterday, July 10. He’s been working hard, and getting it done in a short amount of time. We look forward to seeing him earn his private certificate before we know it.

The Decatur EAA chapter 274 is doing Young Eagle flights this Saturday. This is a great opportunity for kids to get a chance to ride in an airplane, and see Decatur from the air.
