My kids wanted a swing set in our new backyard 🙄 I finally gave in and built one for them.
I used a 16’ 4X6 for the beam and 4X4’s for the legs. After I built it I realized that cutting the grass was going to be a pain so I decided to frame it out. I used 2 16’ 6X6’s plus a 6” piece on each side and 14’ 6X6’s on each end. Once the w**d barrier was laid down I put the mulch down. 60!!! Bags later it was finished. After lumber, hardware, swings, trampoline, w**d barrier, mulch and solar lights we’re around $1,000 but it’s completely worth it once they all got out there and were laughing and playing!
