Is a full day at Dollywood during the Harvest Festival worth it? Absolutely. 🎃✨

We spent open-to-close exploring the park, catching the daytime fall displays, riding coasters, and walking through the Great Pumpkin LumiNights after dark.

Travel Advisor Tip: If you're heading to the Smokies or to Dollywood in September or October, plan to stay through the evening! The glowing pumpkin sculptures and illuminated tree canopies make the night completely different from the day.

No cars, no traffic lights—just bikes, horses, and a ton of history. 🚲🐎

My dad just got back from Mackinac Island and sent over these shots. It really looks like stepping back in time. He spent his time exploring Fort Mackinac, checking out Arch Rock, and eating way too much famous Joann’s fudge.

If you’ve never been up to northern Michigan, this spot needs to be on your radar. It’s easily one of the most unique places in the country.

Yellowstone was one of those places that kept proving us wrong.

We expected geysers. We didn't expect waterfalls, massive canyons, endless wildlife, and landscapes that looked completely different every few miles.

And nobody tells you that your schedule is basically controlled by bison. If they decide to stand in the road, you're waiting. 🦬

After 14 days on the road, this felt like the perfect place to end the trip.

14-Day Western Road Trip: Part 4

We left Kanab before sunrise, and honestly, Utah is wild. It doesn't just change—it completely resets itself every couple of hours. We went from winding red rock tunnels to high-altitude mountain passes, before finally watching the horizon open up at the Great Salt Lake.

It’s these kinds of transitions that remind me why I love what I do. Planning these multi-generational road trips takes a massive amount of coordination, but when you see the landscape shift that drastically in a single day, it’s worth every minute of logistics.

We left Nevada behind and headed into Southern Utah.

The scenery somehow kept getting better with every mile.

From the sandstone waves near Kanab to the towering cliffs of Zion, every stop made us pull over and stare for a minute.

This was easily one of the most memorable stretches of the entire trip.

After leaving Arizona, the route took us through Nevada with stops at Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, and Las Vegas before turning north toward Utah.
