An organization , that we at MOORFIND proudly sponsor . NB Roots and Branches Festival brings multi genre music and visual art to downtown New Bedford each summer and strives to bring the ethnicity of the community directly into the fest.

NB Roots and Branches Festival needs you to eat spaghetti and meatballs with cool people on Saturday! To sweeten the pot we'll have a big open fiddle jam and some games. It's an easy and fun way to make it possible for us to offer a huge hyperlocal block party of a festival that supports local artists, musicians, and businesses. And it's cheap:
$15 gets you great food and entertainment.
You really can't beat that, especially since you simultaneously provide money directly to the artists and sound people who will work our event in 2026.

NB Roots and Branches is excited to welcome Breachway to the MOORFIND stage for our 2025 Festival!

Breachway is a Providence-based indie folk project. The line-up is constantly rotating, but always centers around songwriter Noah Barreto. Barreto was previously known as a founding member of Public Alley, who garnered praise from local publications such as RI Monthly and the Providence Journal. His music highlights delicate instrumental soundscapes and winding lyrics discussing how to be OK. Reverb Raccoon describes him as "a sparsely gentle soul" with "a feel of spontaneous clarity," while Ear To The Ground calls him "raw, unpolished, and one hundred percent the real deal."
