It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share with our friends, family and customers that our founder and namesake CPT. Joseph F Oliveira Jr. has passed away. After nearly 38 years both figuratively and literally at the wheel Joe was looking forward to what he called his “semi-retirement.” Unfortunately that was cut short due to an unexpected illness. His presence is already missed greatly. Joe was either liked or loved by everyone he worked with no matter how much he could drive you crazy. His personality was infectious and his work ethic was unmatched. Joe worked tirelessly and constantly surprised all who witnessed with his incredible ability to fix things. Nothing seemed to be beyond repair. From broken equipment to complex logistical problems, he would have a solution that made things work. With over half a century of experience in the transportation industry Joe could do it all. At nearly 80 years old he still proudly held Class A drivers license and would jump in a truck at any given moment to show you how it was done. He routinely astonished everyone with his ability to work circles around people half his age.

Never one to slow down, you can rest easy now. It is our hope that we can continue Joe’s Transportation with the same Integrity and professionalism as you did for so long. Goodbye to our leader, our father, and our Captain, Joe. We love you.
