Pending any service issues or unsafe working conditions, for tomorrow, Monday the 26th, both Manning and Darlington facilities will operate with the following schedule.

Main Office: Closed
Production: Closed
Shipping/Receiving: Delayed start at 9 am
*Remember to be safe! If you assess the conditions in your area in the morning and are not able to safely get to work, reach out to your supervisor and let them know.

Good Afternoon OTD family! Thank you for you're patience as we have been monitoring the storm. We will continue our normal schedule for work on Monday. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Multi-craft Technician to support our day (single) Shift Plant Operations in Darlington, SC. This position is FULL-TIME Direct Hires.

Responsibilities:
• Duties include the application of one or more craft skills, (i.e. mechanical, electrical, pipe fitting, construction & machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move & maintain a wide variety of production & related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings and systems at a journeyman level.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, conveyor systems, PLCs, production machinery and instrumentation equipment.
• Installs new machinery and equipment and moves machinery and equipment to affect layout changes as required; work may include operations, such as rigging, moving, erecting, aligning, and making necessary hook-ups, placing equipment in proper operating condition.
• Performs preventative maintenance activities of all types, including the most critical types requiring extensive dismantling, re-assemble, and critical adjustment, lubrication, and/or calibration.
• Performs facilities maintenance, to include minor HVAC service, maintaining and installing lighting, carpentry and painting.

Education, Knowledge, Experience and Requirements:
• 5 years’ experience in general production maintenance to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems.
• Must have strong industrial maintenance background.
• Strong oral and written communication, excellent computer skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work requirements, and attention to detail are essential.
• Must be dependable and able to work independent of supervision.
