Plains Dedicated joined the Women In Trucking Association podcast to discuss crime in the trucking industry and the steps legislators are taking to address it. Tune in on October 4, 2025 on SiriusXM Radio to hear the full conversation.

Partially discussed was H.R. 880 - known as the Household Goods Shipping Consumer Protection Act - is a proposed federal bill in the 119th Congress aimed at strengthening consumer protections in the household goods and moving industry (AKA all of the American Public!) This would impose stricter oversight and more transparency requirements on movers and carriers, with the goal of reducing fraud and abuse in an industry where customers are vulnerable during transit.

Women In Trucking Association is a nonprofit that encourages the employment of women in trucking, celebrates their success and minimizes obstacles.
