🏡 Behind the Scenes at a Broker Open House

Today was all about real estate, networking, and seeing a beautiful home through the eyes of the professionals who help make a move happen.

I had the pleasure of attending a broker open house in New Canaan with my colleague and realtor, Ted, along with our mortgage professional and videographer.

It’s always valuable to walk through a home before it hits the market and see what stands out — the presentation, the details, the potential, and sometimes… the things that could use a little extra attention. 😉

As a Move Manager & Home Organizer, I love being part of the real-estate conversation from a different perspective. From preparing a home for market to packing, moving, unpacking, organizing, and getting a client completely settled — there are so many pieces that happen behind the scenes.

The best part? Having a trusted team of professionals who can work together to make the entire process easier for the homeowner.

FROM LISTING DAY → MOVE-IN DAY → FULLY SETTLED ✨

This Stamford, CT → Madison, CT move was so much more than a move.

We first helped get my client’s 4-bedroom Stamford home market-ready — then managed the entire transition to her their home in Madison.

And here’s the part I’m most proud of:

My client wasn’t even there for the move.

I managed it all.

🏡 Oversaw placement of every piece of furniture

Tuesday by 4 PM: my client was moved into their new home.

Wednesday by 4 PM: every box in the new 5-bedroom house was unpacked, everything was put away, and every drawer and closet was organized.

24 hours. One completely settled home.

My client didn’t have to spend days — or weeks — living out of boxes, coordinating vendors, directing movers, figuring out furniture placement or wondering where anything belonged.

She simply walked into a beautiful, organized, functional home that was completely ready for her and her family.

Because moving shouldn’t just mean getting your belongings from Point A to Point B.
