I built the Celebration Key Community for Cruisers group before Celebration Key existed.

32,000 members later I am still the admin, and today Facebook restricted me from posting in it until January 13, 2027.

For sharing my own content. That I created. About the exact topic the group exists for.

I have never made one dime off a group post. I share in there because that's where my people are.

I have spent two years learning this platform's rules, working around its glitches, and scheduling around its moods. I do not have one more workaround in me.

If the platform treats the people who built the room like a spammer in her own room, maybe the room needs a new address.

🍹 Carnival is changing drink package and Wi-Fi pricing!

Starting December 1, Carnival is moving to dynamic pricing. What you pay will depend on your sailing length, itinerary, and time of year.

Now THIS has my attention. 👀
Especially those 14-day Journeys cruises where CHEERS! can cost around $1,200 per person!

Will longer cruises finally catch a break? Or are we about to see some even crazier prices?

Carnival hasn't released the new rates yet, so we'll see.

"That big cruise ship can't sail down the Mississippi." Well, somebody better tell the ships leaving New Orleans. 😂

An ocean cruise from New Orleans starts roughly 100 miles upriver from the Gulf. Your Caribbean vacation begins with a trip DOWN the Mississippi before the ship reaches open water.

That giant ship is following a working commercial shipping channel. This is not a little paddlewheel boat pretending to be an ocean liner.

So yes, you can be on your way to Cozumel while you are still sailing past Louisiana riverbanks. The scenery changes before your destination does.

$90 a day vs. $99 a day. Is that extra $9 actually worth it?

Both include CHEERS! and Wi-Fi, but Epic offers more excursions, more specialty dining, plus a few extra perks.

Here's the catch: More benefits don't automatically mean a better deal.

If you've already purchased Ultimate, don't cancel anything until Carnival confirms what happens to your existing reservations and discounts.

Carnival just bundled drinks, Wi-Fi, and extras into four new FunPacks. Which one would you actually USE? 👀

Prices are per person, per day:
🌊 Kidstarter: $25, ages 3–17
🌊 Zero Proof: $50
🌊 Social: $60
🌊 Epic: $99

I don’t drink, so Zero Proof caught my eye. Not automatically the best buy. I compare the total to what I would buy anyway.

Key distinction: Zero Proof gives excursion and dining DISCOUNTS. Social and Epic INCLUDE excursions and meals, up to value limits. Different benefits.

Check the whole cabin cost: if one adult buys, every guest 21+ in the stateroom must buy the SAME FunPack. Under-21s are not required to join.
Buy by Oct 30, 2026 for sailings Oct 31, 2026 through Dec 31, 2027. Your total shows in My Cruise Manager.

Galveston note: Social and Epic prices are adjusted for Galveston departures, since alcohol benefits start 6 a.m. day two. Check your sailing.
