🥇 A proud 10-year Marine Corps veteran and One-Million-Mile Haul of Famer, David Adamson has been part of the Stevens family since August 2018, having earned his CDL through Tennessee Truck Driving School.

As a Trainer, David is known for his patience, his eye for detail, and the genuine investment he makes in every driver who steps into his truck. His goal is personal, make sure every trainee receives the same quality of instruction that set him up for success. In March, while continuing to develop the next generation of drivers, David logged an outstanding 17,773 miles. And when he is off the road, he loves camping and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

🥈 Ruben Guzman has been part of the Stevens family since January 2017, starting at Stevens Driving Academy before becoming an Independent Contractor in April 2018.

In the years since, he has built a thriving business and poured his real-world experience into every driver he trains. What sets Ruben apart is that he does not just share theory. He shares the kind of knowledge that only comes from years of building something from the ground up. Every driver he trains walks away with a stronger foundation and a clearer picture of what a long, successful career in this industry actually looks like.

Every highway, every back road, every stretch of open land we pass through, it exists the way it does because someone was willing to give their life to protect it. That is easy to forget on an ordinary Monday. But today is not an ordinary day.

Samir was encouraged by his mom. Demonta was inspired by his dad. Two different stories, the same remarkable outcome, two of the most impressive first-year performances in our New Driver Division all month.

🥇 Originally from Philadelphia, Samir Wiggins earned his CDL through Stevens Driving Academy and joined the Stevens family in November 2025. Just three months later, he made the bold move to transition into the Independent Contractor Division. And in March, he logged a remarkable 12,123 miles.

Samir attributes his success to detailed planning and sharp attention to detail, always thinking ahead and accounting for every variable before they become a problem. One of his most unforgettable moments so far was receiving his truck and heading out solo for the very first time. A feeling he says he will carry with him for the rest of his career.

🥈 Demonta Banks earned his CDL through Route Ready CDL Academy in Colorado and joined Stevens in October 2025. His inspiration for this career goes all the way back to being 11 years old, watching his father drive and dreaming of the day he could follow those same footsteps. The moment that opportunity arrived, he jumped on it and has not looked back since.

In March, he logged 12,135 miles. His approach is one of the most refreshing you will find. He says to stay focused, listen to experienced drivers, and never be afraid to ask questions. What Demonta loves most is the chance to explore, meet new people, and learn from drivers who have decades of experience ahead of him. One day, he hopes to be that person for someone else.

Joey Guerra bet on himself after 15 years and never looked back. Timothy Pifer turned this career into a shared adventure with someone he loves. Two very different stories. One outstanding March.

🥇 Originally from Florida, Joey Guerra earned his CDL through Tampa Truck Driving School and joined Stevens in July 2024. Before the road, Joey spent 15 years working in a call center. When that chapter closed, he made the kind of decision most people only talk about and started completely over in a brand new industry. By January 2025, he had transitioned into the Independent Contractor Division. By March, he was logging 13,056 miles and never looking back.

Joey attributes his success to consistency and determination, and his advice to new drivers is simple; Gain as much knowledge as you can, ask every question you have, and never stop learning from the people around you.

🥈 Originally from California, Timothy Pifer earned his CDL through IMBC in Pennsylvania and joined Stevens in June 2025. After a rough experience with a previous company, he found a fresh start here, transitioned quickly into the Contractor Division, and logged 12,522 miles in March. But what makes Timothy's story truly special is not just the numbers. Since July, his girlfriend has been right there on the road with him, and she is his greatest motivation every single day.

The open highways, new cities, and wide open landscapes they discover together have become their shared adventure. And Timothy says sharing this career with her is the best part of all of it.

Between the two of them, they carry a combined story of over three decades of service, millions of miles, and commitment to doing this job with excellence every single day. This past March, Roberto Santana and Michael Levesque stood at the very top of our Dedicated Division.

🥇 Roberto Santana (Driver of the Month) is a distinguished Two-Million-Mile Haul of Famer and has been a cornerstone of the Stevens family since November 2008. Originally from New York, he has spent sixteen years building one of the most decorated careers in our entire fleet, and March was no exception. 13,416 miles is the kind of consistency and passion that has defined his career from the very beginning.

What has kept Roberto going all these years is something genuine; a love for the open road, the freedom of waking up somewhere new each morning, and a landscape that keeps changing and never stops being beautiful. From day one, he has described Stevens Transport as family and that bond, built over sixteen years of shared purpose, has been one of the greatest constants of his journey.

🥈 Michael Levesque (Runner-Up) is a proud Marlborough, New Hampshire native and 18-year U.S. Army veteran. Michael brought the same discipline and quiet strength that defined his military service to every mile he has driven since joining Stevens in October 2017. In March, he logged 13,091 miles. His philosophy is one of the most grounding things you will hear from any driver in this fleet: take your time, trust the process, and keep things simple.

He attributes his wife and the support system at home as key to everything he has built. One of his most cherished career moments came early on when, as a rookie, he was trusted with a dedicated run he has proudly held for over eight years. Even out on the road, Michael finds beautiful ways to stay connected by seeing his wife, daughter, and grandsons every few weeks along his route.

We sat down with a 3-Million-Mile driver to find out the real secret to longevity in this industry, and his answer may surprise some.

For Gerald Dubriel, who started his journey with us out of Baton Rouge back in 1994, it was never actually about chasing a number. Pulling tankers is a unique craft that takes an incredible amount of focus, but if you ask him how he built such a legendary career, he won't talk about driving mechanics or logging miles. He’ll just tell you to be patient.

That calm & steady wisdom is exactly what makes Gerald such a pillar of this community. He’s driven 3 million miles, but it's his humble, gracious attitude that really leaves a mark. Gerald mentions that he loves Stevens Transport because we treat him like family and always have his back. But the absolute truth is, drivers like Gerald are the ones who make us a family in the first place.
