Meet Eric, our Lead Retail Maintenance Technician! He is responsible for maintenance on our non-managed aircraft, coordinating technicians, communicating between customers and our team, and making sure each aircraft has the parts, tooling, and support needed to return to service safely and on time.
Growing up in a Navy family, Eric was constantly around military bases and aviation. As a child, he wanted to be an astronaut or aerospace engineer. Watching fighter jets and flying on "Space-A" C-130's, C-17's and C-5's with his family shifted his passion more towards aviation. On one of these flights, the pilot let him "play" with the yaw trim wheel while in flight, and he's been hooked since! This eventually led to him earning his Airframe and Powerplant Technician certification⚙️🔧
Eric is no stranger to fixing airplanes, but there's one aviation experience he hasn’t checked off his list yet - jumping out of a perfectly good one. So, if you know any skydiving pilots, let him know 😉✈️🪂
