Our team headed to Salem Golf Club for CASA of Polk County's Golf "Fore" Kids Tournament — an event we look forward to every year. OpenRoad had two mixed teams on the course, and both played well, but Christopher, Steve, Jason, and Renee took home the win in the mixed league! Congratulations you guys!

It's a great cause and a great day, and we're always glad to be part of it. Congrats to our winning team, and thank you to CASA of Polk County, Inc. for another well-run tournament.

In honor of Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you from the people on our team who work with carriers and drivers every day.

The miles. The time away from family. The weather delays and long hauls. Thank you for the sacrifices most people never see.

Two weeks ago, our Compliance Manager, Jessica, represented OpenRoad at the 2026 Highway User Conference in Fort Worth, TX — speaking on a breakout panel about how brokerages like ours work with Highway and Revenova to keep freight moving safely.

The industry is navigating a lot of change right now, especially in the wake of the unprecedented Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II ruling. That's exactly why we lean so heavily on strong partnerships and even stronger people. As we tell our team: our tools can do a lot for us, but our people can do a lot more.

We're proud of the people who show up every day to vet carriers carefully and protect the businesses that trust us with their freight. It was a privilege for Jessica to share that perspective with peers navigating the same landscape.

Happy Truck Driver Appreciation Week!

This week, our CEO Mark Weisensee wanted to say a few words directly to the truck drivers who make sure goods get where they're going, safely and on time, every single day.

Different roles, same team — and we're grateful for every mile.

Thank you for everything you do. 🚛

Last week, we hosted our second annual pickleball tournament — three days of matches between eight doubles teams across HQ here in Dallas, Oregon.

Beyond the competition, it's become a tradition we look forward to every year: a chance to step outside, cheer each other on, and enjoy some friendly competition together.

Congratulations to this year's champions, Big Dinks, who took the title from last year's winners, Backhanded Compliments.

We're proud to be named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies!

OpenRoad Global has been in this industry for twenty-two years, which makes this achievement all the more special to us. Through every freight cycle, we've shown up for our customers and carriers in order to build a company people can count on. We've always aimed to stay disciplined in order to grow responsibly, so achieving the kind of growth that gets recognized on a list like this is humbling and exciting.

We're grateful for what our team has built and look forward to seeing what our future holds with the wonderful people who call OpenRoad home.

I think we can all agree that desk jobs are tough on the neck and shoulders. So, we decided to bring in some relief!

Our HQ team traded keyboards for massage chairs during an on-site chair massage day, and the feedback said it all: people needed it more than they realized. A few quiet minutes to reset in the middle of a busy workday made a real difference.

A big thank-you to our amazing HR team for planning the event (snacks and water included) and for consistently finding ways to prioritize employee wellness. It's this kind of care that makes OpenRoad a great place to work.

At OpenRoad, we believe culture is built in the small moments — like pausing for an ice cream social to celebrate National Ice Cream Day together.

Team members from HQ and our Tualatin office came together to scoop up favorites (Tillamook's Salty Caramel Pretzel took the top spot 🏆), load up on toppings, and take a well-earned break from the day-to-day.

It's a good reminder that connection doesn't need a big occasion — just a little sweetness and the right people.

Two and a half centuries of American grit.

Everything this country has built had to be moved — from wagons, rivers, and rail to the Interstate era and today's global, technology-driven supply chain. Behind every milestone is the freight and the people that made it possible.

Since 2004, OpenRoad Global has been proud to play a part — moving business forward through personal and modern logistics services across truckload, LTL, intermodal, air, ocean, customs brokerage, and global forwarding.

This Independence Day, we're grateful to the drivers, carriers, and shippers who keep America moving.
