⭐Employee Spotlight: Meet Laura Jackson ⭐

🎉We’re thrilled to welcome Laura Jackson as Member Services Coordinator at DCA! 

Laura brings a wealth of experience in event operations, workplace experience, and corporate event coordination.

While working for KPMG, she coordinated executive meetings, client events, and corporate programs. Prior to KPMG, Laura worked for Latham & Watkins LLP, supporting executive meetings, client events, and internal programs. She also brings a strong customer experience background from The Farmer’s Dog, which her dog still enjoys to this day. Laura is a Baylor University graduate with a degree in Corporate Communications. Serving as a key point of contact for members and vendors, Laura will support DCA’s membership, meetings and events, administrative operations, and social media/marketing efforts.

We are saddened to share the passing of retired DCA Executive Vice President Dennis Kennedy on Monday, July 20th. Dennis was a valued leader of the DCA community through his years of service with the association. He was hired in 1989 and his first DCA convention was in 1990 in Maui. He retired in 2010 and was honored in Los Cabos, Mexico. His contributions were immense as he shaped the association into what it is today.

That’s a wrap on the DCA Mid Year Meeting in Lake Tahoe, CA! Our final day was packed with more productive committee meetings, awesome offsite activities and capped off with a memorable Closing Dinner!

🎉 We said congratulations and thank you to DCA staff member Donna Reed who is retiring on August 31. We will miss you, Donna!
