Hope's Farm

Hope's Farm is an Equine Education Facility conducting workhorse workshops. Don Yerian also offers wagon rides for families.

Veterans who want to go on a wagon ride may do so free of charge. Don Yerian grew up in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, learning the fine art of horsemanship from his father Charlie. He and his father have always done their farming with the draft horses. They have also been engaged in many other jobs with the horses including logging, cleaning of wilderness lakes, rebuilding wilderness d

ams, packing, and training. Today Don offers workshops as well as classes in horse farming. His prices range from $1500 and up for multi-day/week workshops.He also trains horses and mules to drive as well as conducting classes at Hope's Farm in Custer, MT that include housing. He also takes families on wagon rides ranging from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Prices range from $5 per person to $20 per person.

We had a relaxing Labor Day at Hope's Farm. Terrain is dry, but still beautiful. Jerry and Queen are making a fine team.

It has been a while since we've posted. Busy life = little time for social media. We finally got a couple pictures taken today... Queen and Jerry doing their thing on our wagon ride this morning.

We are probably going to delete Hope's Farm's page. Due to so many posts that are unrelated to anything we do and represent, and we can't keep up on deleting everything. Plus, we got a message stating one of our posts is in violation however we have not posted anything in a while. So farewell and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Tragedy Struck Hope's Farm last night. B Bar Milo succumbed to colic sometime in the night. Dad found him this morning on the hill above the house. RIP B Bar Milo June 2008-October 2024
