When the phone rings at 3:50 AM, it’s usually not because someone wants to tell you good news.
This morning was one of those calls. A dispatch center was experiencing a console outage and needed help immediately. While most people are asleep at that hour, emergencies don’t wait and neither do we.
Within minutes of receiving the call, we were remotely connected and actively working with the client to diagnose and restore service. In many cases, we can resolve issues remotely and have operations back up and running quickly, minimizing downtime for the agencies that depend on these critical systems every day.
If a problem can’t be corrected remotely, we don’t wait until normal business hours. We respond. Day or night. Weekday or weekend.
At Betner Communications LLC, we understand that public safety communications are not a 9-to-5 operation. That’s why we make ourselves available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because when dispatchers, first responders, and the communities they serve need help, every minute matters.
Thankfully, this issue was resolved remotely, and the client was back online quickly.
It’s not always fun getting that early morning phone call, but it’s part of the commitment we make to our customers and one we take seriously.
