I am pleased with my shearing this year, my 20th year in the profession. I'm very thankful for all those I get the chance to meet and work for!!

I had the chance to shear 15,122 sheep for 603 farms/shepherds in 2021. Considering the places I went to more than once, I scheduled, showed up, set up & sheared on 748 occasions!

I look forward to serving everyone again in 2022!

Reaching to shut off the machine on the last sheep today. It's been the most productive stretch I've had this year. The sheep pictured is # 1,016 I've shorn in the last 6 days!

I love all the areas I get to travel to with my shearing. But as far as the scenery, it's hard to beat a sunset at Menemsha beach on Martha's Vineyard.

As I tell people, scheduling spring shearing is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle!

Don't be afraid to get in touch early with your 2020 shearing requests. I may not have an answer for you yet, but you'll get on my list and I'll keep you in mind. Not much shearing in January for me, so it's a great time to connect and help me plan!
