Our Story

Crystal River Marine began as Crystal Outboard in 1952 at the corner of US19/CR 495 (Citrus Ave.) as a Johnson Outboard Dealer. In the early 70′s the name was changed to Crystal River Marine and became the first Proline Boat dealer. In 1983, it relocated to a brand new facility at its current location. In December 2002, Mike and Chris Shotwell, owners of adjoining Three Rivers Marine, purchased the business and soon after expanded the sales and service departments to handle the increased volume. Today we continue as a small, family owned and operated business providing excellent sales and service. Our long-term dedicated staff is caring, experienced and skilled. We understand the necessity of customer service and satisfaction. Our staff is ready to assist you with all of your boating needs.

We are a Factory Authorized Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki parts, service and warranty dealer. Our Technicians are Factory trained. We can service most outboard motors including Johnson/Evinrude, Mercury/Mariner/Force, Suzuki, Tohatsu and we also provide other boat services that may be needed.
