Dispatcher Position

We are a well-established and growing trucking company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage daily operations and support our drivers. This position is in-person at our Crowley, LA location and requires participation in a mandatory on-call rotation.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call rotation required (nights & weekends) – extra compensation provided

Compensation:
$40,000 – $45,000 annually, based on experience
Additional pay for on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities:
• Dispatch drivers and manage daily schedules
• Coordinate routes, pickups, and deliveries
• Monitor driver progress and respond to delays or issues
• Communicate with drivers and customers
• Handle after-hours calls and operational issues during on-call rotation
• Track loads, delivery times, and documentation
• Ensure proper equipment is assigned to loads
• Scheduling maintenance on equipment with in-house maintenance team
• Ensure compliance with company policies and DOT regulations

Qualifications:
• Previous dispatch or trucking logistics experience preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
