Happy Birthday, My Love
Our story was written in the stars—
a tale of chances taken, roads unknown,
two souls daring to chase something greater,
then choosing to chase it together.
Michigan was where our paths were meant to cross,
where laughs with friends filled the air,
where one good night Gracie’s
turned into a lifetime of them with you.
Miami became our first great adventure,
where we learned the rhythm of the days—
waking early to outrun the heat,
and learning to live at the beat of our own drum,
finding comfort in mahi-mahi sandwiches in the keys and cafecitos midday,
chasing every new experience,
but also learning—slowly, deeply—
that some of the best moments come when you simply stop and take it all in. 🌅
Mango, our grateful alley kitty, made us a family,
and soon, tiny paws filled every corner of our small apartment,
kittens tumbling over each other,
our home bursting with love and chaos…
Then came Raleigh, a chapter of family and friendships and quality nights out,
of roots almost planted, boat fun and of new dreams still to come.
Then we welcomed Kali, our second fur baby and adventure kitty,
another little soul to share in our ever-changing adventures with..
But the road was calling, wild and untamed,
so we followed it—mile after mile, year after year.
With Mango and Kali napping on the dashboard,
we talked about our future,
while we drove toward new horizons,
dreams carrying us forward
until we reached the next place to call home,
even if only for a little while 🐾
Along the way, we found more than just landscapes—
we found family in the friends we met,
stories told over campfires, laughter shared over a few beers and nomad gatherings.
Conversations that stretched deep into the subconscious,
where dreams were spoken aloud,
where ideas turned into plans,
and plans turned into the next great adventure.
And now, here we are—chasing those dreams still,
knowing the best is yet to come.
Today, we celebrate you—
the man who has made every mile, every moment,
a love story worth living.
Happy birthday, my love. Here’s to the roads still unwritten,
the sunsets yet to be seen, and the adventures still ahead. 😘💕🎂
