We are pleased to announce that our President and CEO Phil Sinicropi was recently awarded the “Partnership Award” from the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. The award was presented By Randall Richardson, Director of Administration during an awards ceremony following an annual organization meeting held at the NJOHSP office located in the NJ State Police barracks complex in Hamilton, NJ on November 17, 2022.
The Partnership Award recognizes NJ State agency’s for outstanding service to the NJOHSP. This is the first time an outside Vender has been the recipient of this prestigious award. The award was shared by Carl Sambus, President of AMS Warehousing, Morristown, NJ and General Managed Mir Sharipov of AMS.
Pre Covid, All Star Freight was notified 8pm on a Tuesday night by NJOHSP they needed to deliver 186 pallets of drinking water to 32 schools in Newark, NJ before 8am the next day. Working as a task force with AMS Warehouse, City of Newark OEM, and the Newark, NJ Board of education All Star Freight coordinated 15 trucks to pick up at AMS Warehousing, Morristown, NJ and deliver all 186 pallets by 8:30 the next morning.
When making the presentation, Randy said “Phil and his team at All Star Freight delivered over 300,000 bottles of water to the children of Newark, NJ with no advanced notice, preventing the schools from closing that day. In short nothing less than a miracle and the State of New Jersey is ever so grateful”. We at All Star Freight Traffic Service are honored and grateful for the recognition given to us by our partner New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness.
