Fish fry and scallops? Say no more! I’m bringing my own bottle of malt vinegar for this one. Join Alleghany Outdoors and The Friendly Fork for the June 27th Float & Feast. The menu now offers a $5 upgrade for a serving of scallops—order soon, as the closing date for scallop orders will be announced shortly!

You can book a complete trip with kayaking, tubing, or biking. You can set up your own trip or just come for a riverside dinner.

🚴‍♂️Discover one of Virginia's most beautiful rail trails with bike rentals from Alleghany Outdoors!

Choose the adventure that's right for you:

🚐 **Shuttle Ride Option** – We'll shuttle you and your bike to Cedar Creek Trailhead for a scenic ride back along the Jackson River Scenic Trail.

🚴 **Out-and-Back Option** – Start directly from Alleghany Outdoors at Mile Marker 0 and ride at your own pace. Turn around whenever you're ready or make a destination of it!

🍔 **Mile Marker 1.8:** Stop by Petticoat Junction for a meal from the grill (6 AM–7 PM, Monday–Saturday). The grill is closed on Sundays, but cold food, snacks, and drinks are available all week.

🍺 **Mile Marker 7.5:** Take a break at Cliffview Brewhouse, open daily from 11 AM–4 PM, for great food, cold beverages, and spectacular views of the Alleghany Highlands.

With gentle grades, stunning river scenery, mountain views, and abundant wildlife, the Jackson River Scenic Trail is perfect for families, couples, and riders of all experience levels.

Alleghany Outdoors would like to thank everyone that helped support this year's first Float & Feast. It was a great turnout with amazing food from Tropical Spice LLC and beautiful music from Deepwoods Still .

Down by the river was plenty of parents and kids playing and laughing, there was even a batteau taking people up and down the river thanks to Ashley McClung !

I was so caught up in the moment that I was not able to get any pictures or videos order than the aftermath!
