Hey Coventry! Here is a sweeper update. We have seen a huge reduction in sand on the roadways as we no longer use it in our winter operations. Currently finishing the Harris neighborhood and will be beginning Blackrock soon.

9:45PM Update - Road Back Open

⚠️ Harkney Hill Road is currently shut down between Hill Farm Road and Fish Hill Road, for a working brushfire 🔥

👉 It’s always good to shop local, but it’s better when you pay for the items‼️

The Coventry Police Department 👮 is seeking assistance with identifying the depicted alleged shoplifter, who concealed items from our local Dave’s Marketplace on his person, before leaving the store without paying 🚫
Even though it was a holiday weekend when this happened, that was not the kind of discount the store was giving out❗️

😮‍💨 Much to our dismay, the parking lot cameras only captured him leaving in a light colored Nissan sedan, where the license plate was not visible 👎.

Summer Reading Kickoff event at the library this Saturday, June 6th from 10 am to noon. Children, teen and adult summer reading program registrations will begin at the kickoff. Kids and teens who register for the summer reading challenge will receive a free book, while supplies last! Any questions, please call Youth Services at 822-9102.
