ESY FAMILIES!!! If your kiddo is attending the summer program at W.Oak, you will hear from us next week! Please know that the summer program is VERY fluid - times are NOT perfect - we are giving you the earliest time that we might be there so you are ready to go.

That said, the first week always runs a little late while things smooth over. Kids take longer to get on and off the buses while they transition back to a routine. We never know who's on vacation when, so your child MIGHT be home earlier than expected if we have several kids missing on any given day.

If you have NOT heard from us by next Thursday, July 2, please message here so we can send you your information!

As hot as it is outside, school buses are about 10-15 degrees HOTTER. Please know we are letting the kids drink water. If anyone is feeling generous, the drivers, monitors, and kids are all going to be pretty toasty - any offer of water at stops, baby wipes (they help with the sweat/hot faces), or even a spray bottle with water in it would be MORE than welcomed!!!

We had the best visitor this morning! This little cutie is out on walks with her mom in the neighborhood near our bus yard pretty much every day. In the midst of the detour chaos she has been one of the bright spots that our drivers look forward to seeing as they go through. Her mom came in this morning to drop off the sweetest gifts for all of our drivers!!

This fun and interactive half-day morning camp is designed specifically for children entering Kindergarten. Through hands-on presentations and activities with the Coventry Police Department, Ocean State Transit, Central Coventry Fire Department, and other partners, children will learn important safety skills in an exciting and age-appropriate way.

From recognizing potential dangers to making smart, safe choices, campers will gain valuable knowledge while meeting the everyday heroes who help keep our community safe.

A great opportunity for little learners to build confidence, make new friends, and get ready for their Kindergarten journey! 🌟
