Yesterday the weather looked a little threatening in the morning but cleared to puffy clouds and blue skies allowing us to fly 22 Young Eagles. The EAA Young Eagles Program provides Free flights for kids 8-17 to experience aviation in a light aircraft. Our next local event is tentatively scheduled for May 30. Today’s chapter field trip to the Classic Rotors Museum at the Ramona airport was a success. 5 aircraft with over a dozen people got a great tour of the museum. Thanks to Mark Diciero and his team for the tour. So many rotorcraft, many rare 1 of a kind. Be sure to check it out sometime.
