We’re hiring, come join our team! ✈️

We are currently looking for a temporary part-time Airport Line Technician to help keep our airport running safely and efficiently. This role includes providing essential aircraft services such as marshaling, towing, fueling, and replenishing ice, water, and onboard supplies. You’ll also interact directly with customers, assist with baggage, and ensure a high level of service at all times.

We’re seeking someone with a friendly, outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and experience working outdoors with heavy equipment. Flexibility and a passion for aviation are a must!

✈️ Award-Winning Work at the Habersham County Airport!

The Habersham County Airport continues to strive for excellence! The airport received a Merit Award for the Runway Rehabilitation Project at the Georgia Engineering Excellence Awards on March 6.

This award recognizes projects that demonstrate the highest degree of engineering merit and ingenuity. This marks the second year in a row the Habersham County Airport has been honored at the awards. In 2025, the airport received an Honor Award for the ROFA and Apron Expansion Project.

Representing the airport at the event were Airport Manager Bill Harden and Hayden Ratliff, along with the team from Lead Edge Design Group.

✈️ On Tuesday, September 23rd, we were honored to welcome Representative Stan Gunter, Representative Deborah Silcox, GDOT Board Member Jeff Lewis, and Perry-Houston County Airport Manager & GAA Board Member Jim Marquardt as they flew in to tour the Habersham County Airport.

They were greeted by Commissioner Kelly Woodall, Airport Commission Chairman D Higgins, Airport Commission Board Member Lawrence Bridges, Airport Commission Board Member Andy Anderson, Representative Victor Anderson, Development Authority Chairman Jim Butterworth, Airport Manager Bill Harden, and other community leaders.
