📣 Public Notice: Grant Funding Opportunity

The Conroe–The Woodlands Urbanized Area (UZA) has been apportioned $754,182.00 in federal funding through the FY 2024–2025 Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors & Individuals with Disabilities Program. These funds are available to help improve transportation services for seniors and persons with disabilities. All funding includes Transportation Development Credits (TDCs) as the local match.

🚍 Public Notice: Transit Fare Proposal & Feedback Opportunity
The City of Conroe has opened a 30-day public comment period to gather feedback on a proposed fare increase and potential changes or improvements to fixed-route and ADA paratransit services.

For the first time, Conroe is proposing an increase to the one-way full-fare ticket:
💵 $1.00 → $2.00 in the first year
đź’µ $3.00 beginning in 2027
⏳ Tentative effective date: on or about April 1, 2026
